Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of houstoncitycleaners.com and any house cleaning services ("Services") booked through it. By requesting a quote or booking a cleaning, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Houston City Cleaners provides residential cleaning — including standard, deep, move in/out, and post-construction cleans — in Houston, TX and surrounding suburbs, performed by vetted cleaning crews. The scope of each service tier is described on our What to Expect page.

2. Quotes and pricing

The price shown in our online quote builder is an estimate based on the home details and options you provide. Your final price is confirmed by your cleaning crew on arrival and may change if the actual condition or size of the home differs materially from what was described at booking.

3. Booking and scheduling

Appointments are booked against real-time crew availability and confirmed by email. Please provide accurate contact and address information — we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect details.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

• You may reschedule as many times as you'd like, free of charge, with at least 24 hours' notice before your appointment, from your booking confirmation email's "Manage your booking" link.
• You may cancel with at least 24 hours' notice and your deposit is refunded automatically to your original payment method.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or a missed appointment, forfeit the deposit, where a deposit applies.

5. Deposits and payment

Some bookings require a deposit, processed securely through Stripe. By paying the deposit, you authorize us to automatically charge the remaining balance to the same card once your cleaning is marked complete — no separate invoice or payment step is needed. Where no deposit is required, payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

6. Recurring cleaning plans

If you enroll in a recurring plan (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), you authorize us to automatically book and charge each future visit to the payment method on file, at the discounted per-visit price shown when you enrolled, on that cadence, without further action from you.

• You can pause, change the frequency of, or cancel the plan at any time from the "Manage your booking" link in your emails — canceling the plan stops all future visits and charges; it does not affect a visit that's already been completed or paid for.
• Canceling or rescheduling a single upcoming visit under a plan (see Section 4) only affects that one visit — your plan continues on its normal schedule unless you separately cancel the plan itself.
• If a recurring charge fails, we won't book that cycle's visit until payment succeeds; we may reach out if this happens repeatedly, and the plan may be canceled if a valid payment method isn't restored.

7. Property access

You're responsible for providing our crew with a safe and reasonable way to access the property at the scheduled time (e.g., a key, code, or someone present) and for securing pets, valuables, and fragile items before the appointment. For the safety of our cleaning crew, pets must be restrained, crated, or kept in a separate room before we arrive — if a pet can't be safely secured, we may be unable to complete the service.

8. Satisfaction and re-cleans

If you're not satisfied with any part of your clean, contact us within 24 hours and we will work with you to make it right, which may include a re-clean of the affected areas at no additional cost.

9. Liability

We carry insurance for our cleaning operations. We are not responsible for damage related to pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or items of significant value that were not disclosed or secured prior to service. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

10. Acceptable use

You agree to use houstoncitycleaners.com only for legitimate booking purposes and not to interfere with the site, our booking system, or our staff.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
